October Memo to the People

October 2010 Production Memo:  something simple – T-shirt shopping bag

The West LA Chapter of the Sewing Rebellion made a request for a simple project, it doesn’t get much simpler than the T-shirt shopping bag! A participant of a Sewing Rebellion in Sheboygan Wisconsin introduced me to this project in 2007 and it is a great reuse of an old t-shirt with a logo or design you just don’t want to let go of.  It only requires one sewn seam!   However you could go crazy embellishing and personalizing your bag with patches, stencils and bling!

Participate in the Sewing Rebellion, an economic tactic for change of the apparel industry at one of these production events!
